USER EXPERIENCE

ePal
ePAL was created out of the necessity for more immediate healthcare assistance for elderly patients.
Problem
If a patient is having symptoms but they do not feel its necessary to call 911, they want a way to track their health and have immediate access to their doctor.
Result
Utilizing simple prompts that are easily consumable by an elderly user, we successfully designed and developed a Symptom Management system that connects a patient directly with their doctor for immediate assistance and care.

Technology Marketing Toolkit
Technology Marketing Toolkit, Inc. is a marketing agency for IT firms. They have a vast network of IT professionals that utilize the Technology Marketing Toolkit, Inc. marketing system to promote their IT services in their service area. They are a tight-knit group of professionals who heavily rely on communication amongst their group to create successful marketing campaigns.
Problem
Technology Marketing Toolkit, Inc. needed an experience UI/UX designer to create a mobile experience for it’s users to quickly communicate with one another in a secure environment.
Result
After several user interviews and client meetings, I successfully storyboarded, then designed a UI/UX that was easily navigated by Technology Marketing Toolkit, Inc.’s user base.

Ncontracts
At Ncontracts, we develop several pieces of software that help financial institutions and banks complete.their tasks with ease. From compliance to auditing software, and vendor management and risk management, the software we produce covers every aspect of the functions of a financial institution.
Problem
Financial Institutions are often faced with a very difficult auditing workflow.
Result
Through qualitative research, we observed the difficulties our personas faced and were able to design and develop an eloquent solution that surfaced important, necessary information and the ability to flag urgent issues within an audit.

EvidenceCare
EvidenceCare delivers evidence-based clinical knowledge to the point of care. Providers and healthcare organizations now have a trusted resource to inform treatment decisions, strengthen patient relationships, and improve outcomes.
Problem
The Evidence Care team lacked the user experience and user interface design talent that was so critical. The vast amount of content this app housed required careful thought and design to create a design system that could grow with them.
Result
I partnered with Evidence Care to create an elegantly designed web application as well as a mobile responsive experience.

Bright Trip
Bright Trip was born out of the love of travel and experiencing the rich heritage and cultures around the world. As a way to encourage others to travel, Bright Trip offers a robust catalog of online video courses covering topics on traveling with children, to various customs and ceremonies in other cultures.
Problem
Until Bright Trip was conceived, there wasn’t anything on the Internet that offered travel advice and tips via video courses.
Result
Through meetings with 2 YouTube travel influencers, I was able to get to the heart of what a user would want to consume and design a user experience that was fresh, but had familiarity.

Lee Company
Lee Company offers comprehensive services and trust-winning solutions: their team of caring professionals builds on 75 years of experience in everything from HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service to windows, appliance repair, and security, to huge construction projects.
Problem
Lee Company prides itself in prompt, in-home service to it’s customers. They had relied on an antiquated paper ticketing system for the schedule of the service repair technicians in the field.
Result
I listened to the pain points of the service technicians in the field and got to the heart of what would make their life easier. Along with my product manager, I created a workflow and user experience that solved a huge gap in the Lee Company process.
